About the event
Event Summary: Turkey Trouble
Get ready for a clucking good time at our Turkey Trouble event! On November 14th from 1 PM to 3 PM, we'll dive into the hilarious world of Wendi J. Silvano's "Turkey Trouble." Join us as we combine literacy with a dash of science to create our very own human-powered hiding turkeys!
What to Expect:
- Reading Time: We'll kick things off by reading the tale of a turkey on the run from becoming Thanksgiving dinner. Spoiler alert: it’s a wild ride! - **Crafting Chaos:** Armed with solo cups, straws, latex gloves, and feathers, participants will construct their own sneaky turkeys. Will yours be a master of disguise, or will it flop like a badly cooked bird? - **Turkey Showdown:** Once our creations are complete, we’ll see whose turkey can hide the best—or pop out with the most flair!
